The Hatten City, Harbour City, and Kota Laksamana developments have pushed hundreds of new condo units onto the Melaka market. Our wholesale curtain fabric pricing is structured for exactly this. Buy 50 metres or more and you get pembekal rates, not retail. A typical 3-bedroom condo needs roughly 38–45 metres of curtain cloth, depending on window count and whether you're doing sheer plus blackout layering. So a single unit almost hits the MOQ on its own.

But here is where it gets practical. If you are fitting out a whole floor — say, 8 to 12 units in a developer handover batch — we can do a single consolidated shipment. One delivery, one invoice, and we will pre-cut to your measurement schedule so your seamstress team can start sewing the day the fabric arrives.

For Melaka condos with sea-facing windows (Straits-view units in The Shore, for example), we strongly suggest blackout curtain fabric at minimum 280gsm with a 3-pass coating. The afternoon sun off the strait is brutal, and cheap 180gsm blackout will fade within 18 months. Spend the extra RM3–5 per metre now.

What Fabric Widths Do We Stock?

Three standard widths cover 95% of Melaka projects:

• 54-inch (137cm) — cushion covers, small window panels, decorative throws. Limited curtain use.
• 110-inch (280cm) — the workhorse for residential curtains. Suits standard 2.7–2.9m ceiling heights with a comfortable drop allowance.
• 118-inch (300cm) and 320cm railroaded — for floor-to-ceiling glazing, hotel lobbies, and ballroom drapes. Cuts down on seaming labour.

We currently stock roughly 287 colour options across our sheer, semi-sheer, and opaque ranges. Not every colour is available in every width — check with us before committing to a specific shade for large-volume orders.

Delivery Logistics: PJ to Melaka

Our warehouse sits at Lot 1509, Batu 8, Jalan Klang Lama in Taman Desaria, Petaling Jaya. It is about 148km to Melaka Tengah via the PLUS highway — a straight run, no complicated last-mile routing.

Standard schedule:

• Orders confirmed by 12pm ship same day
• Delivery arrives 2–3 working days, sometimes next day for Melaka city centre addresses
• Outlying areas like Jasin and Masjid Tanah may add one extra day
• Alor Gajah and Ayer Keroh are on our regular courier route — no surcharge

During peak seasons — before Hari Raya, CNY, and the November/December hotel refurbishment window — lead times stretch by 1–2 days. Stock runs low before Raya especially. We have seen container delays from Chinese ports add 3–4 weeks to restock timelines, so do not assume popular fabrics will always be on the shelf.

Trade Terms for Melaka Customers

We supply on 30-day credit to established trade accounts. New customers start with cash-on-order, which we convert to credit terms after the third order. Cutting charges apply below the minimum cut length (per bidang). Standard cutting charge is RM5 per cut for orders under 5 metres of a single fabric. Above that, no cutting fee.
